Corporate Property Associates 18 – Global Incorporated (“CPA:18 – Global”) and, together with its consolidated subsidiaries, we, us, or our, is a publicly owned, non-traded REIT that primarily invests in a diversified portfolio of income-producing commercial properties leased to companies, both domestically and outside the United States. In addition, our portfolio includes self-storage and student housing investments. As a REIT, we are not subject to U.S. federal income taxation as long as we satisfy certain requirements, principally relating to the nature of our income and the level of our distributions, among other factors.
