Our business was originally organized in February 2006. We added our current parent holding company, GWG Holdings, Inc. (GWG Holdings), in March 2008, and in September 2014 we consummated an initial public offering of our common stock on The Nasdaq Capital Market where our stock trades under the ticker symbol GWGH. GWG Holdings conducts its life insurance secondary market business through a wholly owned subsidiary, GWG Life, LLC (GWG Life), and GWG Lifes wholly owned subsidiaries, GWG Life Trust and GWG DLP Funding IV, LLC.
