• Samsung unveiled three new Galaxy S22 smartphones, including S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra

Samsung launched new smartphones and tablets on Wednesday in an attempt to compete with rival Apple Inc’s (NYSE: APPL) latest products.
At Galaxy Unpacked’s event, Samsung unveiled three new Galaxy S22 smartphones, including the standard S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra.
The cost of the new models starts with $800 for S22, while the S22+ model costs $1000. The most advanced S22 Ultra costs $1200.
The new models come in variety of colors as the S22 and S22+ are available in white, pink, black and green while the S22 Ultra has an additional burgundy color.
The models have an advanced camera system as both the S22 and S22+ have a three-lens camera system, including a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 50-megapixel main lens and a 10 MP telephoto sensor.
The S22 Ultra model comes with a 108 MP main camera and two 10 MP telephoto lenses for more advanced zooming.
The S22 model sports a 6.1-inch display, while S22+ and S22 Ultra feature 6.6-inch and 6.8-inch screens.
Samsung said all the three models support the next generation of Wi-Fi—Wi-Fi 6—while S22+ and S22 Ultra can also connect to new, superfast 5G networks.
Galaxy S8 Tab
The South Korean giant also launched three new Android tablets, including the Galaxy Tab S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra comes in a huge 14.6-inch screen featuring a dual-lens, 12-megapixel front camera with a 120-degree field of view.
The S8 and S8+ come in 11-inch and 12.4-inch screen, respectively.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is priced at $1,100, while the S8 and S8+ model costs $700 and $900, respectively.
All the newly launched devices are available for preorder, starting Wednesday.
