• Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said he could neither confirm nor deny if the attack was carried out by Ukraine
Russian officials accused Ukraine of attacking a fuel depot in the Russian city of Belgorod on Friday, as peace talks between the two countries are underway.
Russia said two Ukrainian attack helicopters carried out an air strike against the depot in Belgorod, a city located close to the Ukrainian border with Russia and north of Kharkiv.
Vyacheslav Gladkov, the regional governor of Belgorod wrote on his official Telegram channel that Ukrainian helicopters flying at low altitude attacked the facility.
“The fire at the oil depot occurred as a result of an air strike from two helicopters of the armed forces of Ukraine, which entered the territory of Russia at a low altitude. There are no victims,” he said.

“All resources are available to extinguish the fire. The Ministry of Emergency Situations is trying to localize the fire as soon as possible. The population is not in danger.”
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said he could neither confirm nor deny if the attack was carried out by Ukraine.
"I can neither confirm nor reject the claim that Ukraine was involved in this simply because I do not possess all the military information," he said.
Gladkov said that two workers were injured in the attack.
