Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to virtually address the United Nations Security Council on Tuesday for the first time since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24.
“The UK Presidency of the Council will ensure the truth is heard about Russia’s war crimes. We will expose Putin’s war for what it really is,” the UK UN posted in a tweet.

Ukraine has accused Russia of deaths in towns surrounding Kyiv, including Bucha, Irpin, and Hostomel, with President Zelenskyy labeling Russian soldiers as Murderers, looters, butchers who are conducting "genocide" in his nation.
The images and videos of people lying dead on the streets of Bucha, sparked outrage throughout the world, prompting calls for a probe and more sanctions against Russia.

The UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed his "deep shock" after seeing the images of dead civilians in the Ukrainian town of Bucha in a post on Twitter. Guterres also said "effective accountability" from those responsible for the heinous crime.
