“Either the Russian leadership will really seek peace, or as a result of this war, Russia will leave the international arena forever,” Zelenskyy said in his latest video address.
He also urged his European peers to impose an oil embargo once more. In his address, he said, “The European Union must stop sponsoring Russia's military machine."
The operational reports from the six-week-long conflict were also briefly emphasized by Zelenskyy.
“Combat reports for today do not differ significantly from previous ones. Russian troops are stepping up activity in the eastern and southern directions. They are trying to retaliate for their defeats. Rocket bombings and artillery strikes continue,” Ukraine's President said.
Zelenskyy further accused Moscow of attempting to recruit people of temporarily controlled territories in the south of Ukraine to escalate the attack in particular Donbas districts.
