Authorities reported multiple blasts in Ukraine's western and southern districts of Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk on Monday that killed many people and sparked fires in the city.

On Twitter, the mayor of Lviv, Andrey Sadovoy, announced that the city had been hit by "five targeted missile strikes."

According to regional governor Maksym Kozystkiy, missiles attacked military buildings and a car tire service facility in Lviv, killing six persons and injuring eight more, Reuters reported.
