Uber Technologies Inc (NYSE: UBER) on Monday announced a slew of updates as travel demand rebounds in the US.
The features, announced during its Go/Get virtual event, include booking a bus or passenger van, voice ordering and many more.
Booking a bus or passenger van
Through a partnership with US Coachways, Uber is will let users book large vehicles like a party bus, passenger van or coach bus directly in the app. The feature will be available this summer in the US.
Uber Travel
The ride-hailing company said it will let users reserve rides for each part of their itinerary. To use the feature, the users will have to connect their Gmail account and Uber will organize their hotel, flight, and restaurant reservations all in one place for a “stress-free travel experience.”
On using the feature, which rolls out Monday in the U.S. and in the coming weeks in Canada, users will get 10% back in Uber cash for each reserved ride.
Other new features include voice ordering food through Uber Eats using Google Assistant and in-venue ordering on Uber Eats and Postmates at certain stadiums across the U.S. and France
