US road and transportation safety agency on Wednesday said it has opened a special crash investigation against Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA), whose Model S was involved in a crash this month in California, killing three people.
A 2022 Tesla Model S, on May 12, crashed into construction equipment in Newport Beach, California. Three people inside the vehicle were killed, while three workers near the construction site were injured, according to police.
