Ukraine will not cede any territory to Russia, says presidential advisor
  • Arestovych believes that certain nations desire a replay of the Minsk agreements

Ukraine will not make concessions with Russia and will not cede any land, said Zelenskyy's aide in an interview with Channel 24.

“The only option for reconciliation is Russia’s capitulation, the withdrawal of troops, and talks on compensation. This is the principal position of the government,” Oleksiy Arestovych told 24 Channel.

Arestovych believes that certain nations desire a replay of the Minsk agreements, which have failed to stop the conflict in Ukraine's Donbas area since 2014, as per Al Jazeera translation.

Despite some nations' efforts to bargain, he said that “there will be no option where we allow Russians to stay here”.
