JPMorgan Chase and Co’s (NYSE: JPM) investment banking unit will soon have a new vice-chair.
According to a tweet posted by Reuters on Tuesday, the firm has named Thomas Cassin as vice-chair of global debt capital markets for the bank's investment banking unit.
The news was exclusively posted by Reuters, which reported that Marc Baigneres and John Servidea would become co-heads of investment-grade finance in New York.
With an illustrious four-decade career at JPMorgan Chase, Cassin would now work on acquisition and strategic financing opportunities in his new role. The news agency reported that this move will help expand the bank's financing footprint.
Earlier this month, JPMorgan Chase promoted two senior bankers in its financial institutions group (FIG), Jeremy Capstick and Howard Chen, to global co-heads of market infrastructure to bolster the expansive financial services franchise.
