Denis Pushilin, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), said it would need additional allied forces, particularly from Russia, as Ukraine's intensifies attack on Donetsk and other republican cities.
"The enemy has literally crossed all boundaries, using prohibited methods of warfare, residential and central districts of Donetsk are being shelled, and other cities and towns of the DPR are also under fire,” Pushilin told Russian News Agency TASS.
“An understanding was reached that all the necessary additional forces of the allied forces will be involved, primarily from Russia," he added.

According to the news organization, nearly 300 MLRS rockets and artillery munitions were launched in two hours which destroyed a maternity facility in Donetsk as well.
