The Russian defense ministry said its forces destroyed an ammunition warehouse for weapons given to Kyiv by NATO member nations in Ukraine's western area.
The ministry said high-precision air-based missiles launched from the Nikolaev area have destroyed Ukrainian air force planes at the Voznesensk military airfield.
The part of the ammo would be used for US-made M777 howitzers, which are a sort of artillery weapon.
More than 300 nationalists were killed, as well as one electronic warfare station near Malinovka in Kharkiv Region, ten tanks and other armored combat vehicles, three Grad multiple rocket launchers, 18 special vehicles, three mortars, and 11 field artillery mounts, including four M777 155-mm howitzers, the MoD said.
Earlier on Monday, the ministry said it “destroyed a large number of weapons and military equipment delivered to a group of Ukrainian nationalists, including from the USA and European countries.”
