Some SpaceX employees called its CEO Elon Musk a “distraction” amid a slew of controversies around him, especially the deal with the Twitter Inc (NYSE: TWTR).

"Elon's behavior in the public sphere is a frequent source of distraction and embarrassment for us, particularly in recent weeks," read the letter, reported Reuters.
"As our CEO and most prominent spokesperson, Elon is seen as the face of SpaceX - every tweet that Elon sends is a de facto public statement by the company," the letter added.
The letter which is addressed to SpaceX executives comes after Musk’s tussle with Twitter in acquiring the platform and recent sexual harassment allegations against him which the billionaire had denied.
