EasyJet to buy 56 Airbus A320neo aircraft

• The deliveries of the aircraft are expected in 2026

EasyJet said on Tuesday it will buy 56 Airbus A320neo aircraft in an attempt to renew its fleet that would produce lower emissions and less noise.

The proposed order of the British low-cost airline is due shareholders’ approval.

The deliveries of the aircraft are expected in 2026, the company said, replacing the carrier's older A319 and A320 aircraft.
