• The airline had to cancel additional 181 flights on Friday
Scandinavian airline SAS said it cancelled almost 70% of its flights on Friday due to strike by its pilots.
The airline has cancelled hundreds of flights this week after its pilots decided to go on a strike. On Friday, the airline had to cancel additional 181 flights, according to flight tracker FlightAware.
SAS had filed for bankruptcy protection in the US earlier in the week after about 1,000 of its pilots went on strike.
SAS, which has been in working on a restructuring plan for months, is among the other airlines that are hit by the lockdowns in the pandemic.
