Chasiv Yar attack is a ‘terrorist’ act, says Zelenskyy's aide
- Around 18 people were killed after Russian forces strike a building in eastern Ukraine
Andriy Yermak, President Zelenskyy's adviser termed the strike on Chasiv Yar a terrorist act and has urged for Russia to be officially designated as a state sponsor of terrorism.
“The Russians hit a high-rise apartment building with civilians again. Another terrorist attack by a terrorist country,” Yermak said in a tweet.
“The Russian Federation should be on the list of state sponsors of terrorism.”
Around 18 people were killed and others injured after a series of rocket launches by Russian forces hit a building in the eastern Ukrainian town.
Chasiv Yar, with a population of 12,000 people, is roughly 20 kilometers (12 miles) southeast of Kramatorsk was targeted by Russian Uragan rockets fired from truck-borne weapons.
