The airline has cancelled more than 1200 flights in the last 10 days

Scandinavian airline SAS and pilots’ union will resume negotiations on Wednesday to end pilots’ strike.

The airline has cancelled more than 1200 flights in the last 10 days after its pilots decided to go on a strike.

On Monday, SAS said the ongoing strike impacts thousands of its customers on a daily basis.

“Over the past days, SAS has notified mediators that the company wishes to resume mediation with the objective of reaching an agreement to end the ongoing strike,” it said in a statement.

SAS had filed for bankruptcy protection in the US after about 1,000 of its pilots went on strike.

SAS, which has been in working on a restructuring plan for months, is among the other airlines that are hit by the lockdowns in the pandemic.
