Turkey said that Russia and Ukraine will sign an agreement to reopen Ukraine's Black Sea ports to grain shipments to avoid a global food crisis

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will attend the ceremony with the Turkish President at the Dolmabahce Palace offices at 13:30 GMT.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his nightly video address “tomorrow we also expect news for our state from Turkey - regarding the unblocking of our ports.”

The four parties met in Istanbul last week and secured a preliminary agreement on the proposal, which involves joint management of ships departing and arriving at Black Sea ports.

The UN and Turkey have been negotiating an agreement for the last two months to resume Ukraine's Black Sea grain exports while simultaneously enabling Russian grain and fertilizer shipments.
