Ukraine reportedly attacks major bridge linking seized Kherson

Ukraine's military forces said to have bombarded the Antonivskyy Bridge in southern Ukraine, which leads into Russian-occupied Kherson.

Last night, the military forces allegedly broadcast a video on the Telegram showing missiles destroying the bridge, one of many that led into Kherson.

The Russian state news outlet TASS said that HIMARS had targeted the bridge.

Last week, Authorities in Russian-occupied Kherson confirmed that Ukrainian troops had attacked the Antonovskiy bridge across the Dnieper River, with social media photos showing visible damage to the bridge's roadway.

The UK ministry of defense said this region in Kherson is politically and symbolically significant for Russia. Control of the Dnieper crossings is anticipated to have a major role in the outcome of the war in the region.
