Ukrainian troops near Kharkiv in the northeast had taken the village of Dovhenke from Russian forces and were moving toward Izyum said Oleksiy Arestovych, a Ukrainian presidential adviser.
“The situation is very interesting. Ukraine’s forces are moving very successfully. Attempts by Russia to regain lost ground were not successful. Ukraine may end up encircling them,” Arestovych said in the YouTube video.
Meanwhile, the military general staff of Ukraine, tank, artillery, and rocket fire was directed at communities to the north, east, and southeast of Kharkiv.
