WWE’s McMahon paid $5 million to Trump’s charity: Report

McMahon made the donations to the charity in 2007 and 2009

Former chairman and CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. (NYSE: WWE), Vince McMahon paid out $5 million to Donald Trump’s charity, according to a report by Wall Street Journal.

McMahon made the donations to the charity in 2007 and 2009—the same two years when Trump made appearances at WWE televised events.

McMahon had retired as CEO from his company last month, amid allegations of sexual misconduct against him.

WWE had disclosed this month that McMahon made transactions of $20 million related to the company. According to the report, of the $20 million, $5 million were paid to Trump’s charity.
