McDonald’s Corp (NYSE: MCD) announced on Monday appointment of three new members to its board and departure of a director.
Sheila Penrose, who leads the board’s sustainability and corporate responsibility committee, is set to retire on September 30 after 16 years of service.
The board also elected three new members including Tony Capuano, Jennifer Taubert and Amy Weaver. The new members will officially take their positions on October 1.
With the addition of new members, the size of McDonald’s board increases to 14 and and the number of female members also doubles.
