Comcast to sell majority stake in NBC Sports Washington
Comcast has agreed to sell the network to Monumental Sports & Entertainment

Comcast Corp (NASDAQ: CMCSA) has agreed to sell its majority ownership stake in NBC Sports Washington to Monumental Sports & Entertainment.
Monumental already owns 33% stake in NBC Sports Washington—the regional sports network that airs local Washington, D.C., NBA and NHL games.
According to the deal, Monumental will take ownership of Comcast’s 67% position in the network.
The deal between the two companies says that Comcast’s NBCUniversal will continue to assist operation of the network for up to 18 months.
