Earnings Snapshot: Banco Santander-Chile reports $119.1 million Q4 profit

Banco Santander-Chile, based in Santiago, Chile, said it made 25 cents per share Q4 earnings
SANTIAGO, Chile (AP) _ Banco Santander-Chile (BSAC) on Friday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $119.1 million.
The bank, based in Santiago, Chile, said it had earnings of 25 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 34 cents per share.
The financial holding company posted revenue of $1.42 billion in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $527.5 million, also missing Street forecasts.
For the year, the company reported a profit of $945.8 million, or $1.96 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.63 billion.
Banco Santander-Chile shares have risen 7% since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 14% in the last 12 months.
