On a per-share basis, the Houston-based company said it had profit of 20 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 26 cents per share.
The producer of the chemcial additive carbon black posted revenue of $462.1 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $106.2 million, or $1.73 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.03 billion.
Orion Engineered Carbons expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.30 to $2.60 per share.
