'Ring of fire' solar eclipse will slice across Americas on Saturday with millions along path

Tens of millions in the Americas are getting front-row seats for a rare “ring of fire” eclipse of the sun
Americans will have a ringside view of the annular solar eclipse event known as the "ring of fire" on Saturday.
The skies over parts of the western U.S. and Central and South Americas will briefly dim during the event that occurs when the moon lines up between Earth and the sun.
The positioning of the celestial bodies will blot out the sun’s disk, except for the outer rim.
This will cause a blazing border to appear around the moon for about five minutes to skygazers along a narrow path from Oregon to Brazil.
