Badger Meter: Q3 Earnings Snapshot

MILWAUKEE (AP) — MILWAUKEE (AP) — Badger Meter Inc. (BMI) on Thursday reported third-quarter profit of $26 million.

On a per-share basis, the Milwaukee-based company said it had net income of 88 cents.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 76 cents per share.

The manufacturer of products that measure gas and water flow posted revenue of $186.2 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $172.8 million.
