On a per-share basis, the Chicago-based company said it had profit of 30 cents.
The aluminum producer posted revenue of $512.3 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $43.1 million, or 47 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $2.19 billion.
Century shares have decreased 13% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $10.60, a climb of 3% in the last 12 months.
