Village Farms: Q4 Earnings Snapshot

DELTA, Canada (AP) — DELTA, Canada (AP) — Village Farms International Inc. (VFF) on Wednesday reported a loss of $22.5 million in its fourth quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Delta, Canada-based company said it had a loss of 20 cents. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs, were 8 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 2 cents per share.
The greenhouse operator posted revenue of $74.2 million in the period, which topped Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $70 million.
