SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Williams-Sonoma Inc. (WSM) on Wednesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $354.4 million.
On a per-share basis, the San Francisco-based company said it had net income of $5.44.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $5.06 per share.
The seller of cookware and home furnishings posted revenue of $2.28 billion in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $2.21 billion.
