On a per-share basis, the San Diego-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 15 cents per share.
The mobile imaging software company posted revenue of $37.7 million in the period, which missed Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $41.9 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $8 million, or 17 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $172.6 million.
Mitek Systems expects full-year revenue in the range of $180 million to $185 million.
