ADDISON, Texas (AP) — ADDISON, Texas (AP) — Wingstop Inc. (WING) on Wednesday reported second-quarter earnings of $27.5 million.
On a per-share basis, the Addison, Texas-based company said it had profit of 93 cents.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 82 cents per share.
The restaurant chain posted revenue of $155.7 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $144 million.
