Lyft: Q2 Earnings Snapshot

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Lyft Inc. (LYFT) on Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of $5 million.
On a per-share basis, the San Francisco-based company said it had profit of 1 cent. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, were 24 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 19 cents per share.
The ride-hailing company posted revenue of $1.44 billion in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Ten analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.39 billion.
