On a per-share basis, the South Jordan, Utah-based company said it had a loss of 23 cents. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and amortization costs, were 12 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 9 cents per share.
The provider of data analytics for the health care industry posted revenue of $75.9 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $75 million.
For the current quarter ending in September, Health Catalyst said it expects revenue in the range of $74.5 million to $77.5 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $304 million to $312 million.
