CAMPBELL, Calif. (AP) — CAMPBELL, Calif. (AP) — 8x8 Inc. (EGHT) on Monday reported a loss of $14.5 million in its fiscal second quarter.
The Campbell, California-based company said it had a loss of 11 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 9 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 8 cents per share.
The telecommunications services company posted revenue of $181 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $177.8 million.
For the current quarter ending in December, 8x8 said it expects revenue in the range of $177 million to $182 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $714 million to $727 million.
