The Bethesda, Maryland-based real estate investment trust said it had funds from operations of $28.9 million, or 83 cents per share, in the period.

The company said it had net income of $11.7 million, or 48 cents per share.
The real estate investment trust involved mostly in shopping malls posted revenue of $67.3 million in the period.
The company's shares have climbed slightly more than 4% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $40.99, an increase of 15% in the last 12 months.
