The 82nd Golden Globe Awards will return with a star-studded lineup, featuring some of Hollywood’s biggest names such as Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Denzel Washington, and more. The awards ceremony, which will be broadcast on CBS and streamed on Paramount+, is set for Sunday at 8 p.m. Eastern. Comedian Nikki Glaser, known for her sharp humor and recent Emmy-nominated HBO special, will host this year’s event. Glaser, who cites Tina Fey and Ricky Gervais as inspirations, aims to keep things edgy while ensuring she doesn’t offend the audience.
Leading the film nominations is Jacques Audiard’s audacious musical Emilia Pérez, which earned 10 nods, followed by Wicked and The Brutalist. On the TV side, The Bear leads with five nominations. There are 26 first-time nominees, including Ariana Grande and Pamela Anderson. Additionally, actors like Kate Winslet, Sebastian Stan, and Selena Gomez received multiple nominations across both film and TV categories.

Viola Davis will be honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award, recognizing her exceptional career in both film and television, while Ted Danson will receive the Carol Burnett Award for his contributions to television.
