James W. Christmas

JAMES W. CHRISTMAS is President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of KCS Energy, Inc. Mr. Christmas has held these positions since the company was founded in June, 1988. KCS Energy's headquarters are in Edison, New Jersey, with principal operations based in Houston, Texas; Worland, Wyoming and Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Christmas' career includes 10 years with NUI Corporation where in 1987 he became Vice President, Planning, and engineered the spin-off of NUI's non-regulated businesses into KCS Energy. Under his leadership KCS has increased its oil and gas reserves and production more than fifty percent per year over the past five years. Prior to his association with NUI, Mr. Christmas, a Certified Public Accountant, was with Arthur Anderson & Co. in New York. Born in Rochester, New York, 

Mr. Christmas graduated from St. John's University with a Bachelor of Science degree and major in accounting. He is a member of the Independent Petroleum Association of America and the Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association. He currently resides in Floral Park, New York.
