From 2000 and continuing post the acquisition by the Boeing Company in 2006, Mr. Fulchino served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Aviall, Inc., the world’s largest technology-based service provider of component parts and related services to the aviation and marine aftermarket. During his tenure, the Company gained significant market penetration and grew at an average rate of 30% per annum.
Prior to joining Aviall, Mr. Fulchino served in the role of President and Chief Operating Officer of B/E Aerospace, a leading supplier of aircraft cabin interior products and services. In this capacity, he executed the company's tripling of growth and profitability as well as development plans encompassing strategic acquisitions, new product introductions, organization and management development and technology enhancements.
Prior to B/E Aerospace, Mr. Fulchino served for several years in the capacities of both President and Vice Chairman of Mercer Management Consulting, a large international management-consulting firm. While in these roles, Mr. Fulchino led the merger integration of several acquired consulting firms and the exponential growth of the firm’s revenues, profits and professional services staff.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Fulchino also worked at Raytheon Company as an engineer in the manufacturing, testing, and inspection of missile systems.
Mr. Fulchino attended the United States Military Academy, received an A.B. in mathematics from Boston College, and earned his M.B.A. from Columbia University Graduate School of Business with a concentration in finance and operations research.
