Brian S. Tyler

Brian S. Tyler is Chief Executive Officer of McKesson Corporation (MCK). He has more than two decades of experience at McKesson, having held a variety of leadership roles in the company, including in its corporate strategy and business development unit. McKesson is a diversified healthcare services leader advancing health outcomes for patients and communities. Earlier, Tyler held the position of Chief Operations Officer when he was responsible for the company’s global business operations. He served as chairman of the Management Board (CEO) of McKesson Europe. Tyler also played an overall leadership role in the company's North American pharmaceutical distribution services and related businesses. The units he helmed included McKesson U.S. Pharmaceutical, McKesson Canada, McKesson Specialty Health and McKesson Pharmacy Systems & Automation. Tyler served as executive vice president of Corporate Strategy and Business Development leading the overall corporate strategy for McKesson. 

Prior to joining McKesson, Tyler spent three years at Integral, Inc. as a senior associate, and at Health Care Consulting in Cambridge, MA. 

Tyler has a Ph.D. and master’s degree from the University of Chicago, Department of Economics where he studied under a grant from the National Science Foundation. He did B.A. in Economics from University of California Santa Cruz.

Brian is based in Las Colinas, Texas. He is married with two children.
