David V. Goeckeler

David Goeckeler is the CEO at Western Digital ( WDC ) He was previously Executive Vice President and General Manager of Cisco’s Networking and Security Business Group with responsibility for more than $32 billion of the company’s global technology business.

Goeckeler is known as a transformational leader with proven business expertise and deep technical knowledge.

Goeckeler also served as the leader of Cisco’s Security Business and was instrumental in defining Cisco’s threat-centric security strategy and transitioning the business to a software and recurring revenue based model, and returning the business to share gaining growth.
