Andrés Gluski is President and Chief Executive Officer of The AES (AES) Corporation, Andres began his tenure at AES in 2000, previously serving as the CEO of AES Gener in Chile and as AES’ COO before becoming President and CEO in 2011. Andrés graduated magna cum laude from Wake Forest University and earned his MA and PhD in economics from the University of Virginia.
Andrés and his wife enjoy yoga, jogging and biking, have two grown sons and live in Georgetown, Washington DC. AES is committed to operational excellence and meeting the world’s changing power needs.
