Kevin M. Stein is a President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of Transdigm Group, Inc. (TDG)

Dr. Kevin M. Stein joined TransDigm Group in 2014 as the Chief Operating Officer and later took the additional title of President before being promoted to CEO in May of 2018.TransDigm, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, is a leading global designer, producer and supplier of a wide array of highly engineered proprietary aerospace components used on nearly all commercial and military aircraft in service today.

Prior to joining TransDigm, Dr. Stein worked for Precision Castparts Corporation, now a division of Berkshire Hathaway, as President of the Castings and Forgings Group and as an Executive Vice President of Precision Castparts Corporation. Previously, Dr. Stein worked for Cooper Industries and Tyco Electronics/Raychem Corporation as a division president.

Dr. Stein also serves as a Trustee for Gilmour Academy, a K-12 independent co-ed Catholic school in Gates Mills, Ohio; and as a Trustee at Pitzer College, a private liberal arts college in Claremont, California. Dr. Stein and his family are currently supporting a “Women in STEM” initiative to provide scholarships to needy individuals in this underrepresented demographic and a Mental Health and Wellness initiative to assist the next generation in transitioning through their educational years to a productive and healthy life. Dr. Stein and his family also partner with the Cleveland Clinic to provide ongoing transportation services for medical care to the homeless and at-risk individuals.
