Brian Patrick MacDonald is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of CDK Global, Inc.(CDK) 

Brian P. MacDonald has served as our President since January 1, 2016, as our Chief Executive Officer since March 8, 2016, and as a member of our Board of Directors since June 15, 2015. Prior to joining CDK, Mr. MacDonald served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Hertz Rental Equipment Corporationrationration from June 2014 to May 2015, and as interim Chief Executive Officer of Hertz Corporationrationration from September 2014 to November 2014. Prior to Hertz, Mr. MacDonald served as President and Chief Executive Officer of ETP Holdco Corporationration, an entity formed following Energy Transfer Partners 5.3 billion acquisition of Sunoco, Inc. in 2012, where Mr. MacDonald had served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer prior to ETP acquisition of Sunoco. During his tenure at Sunoco, the company undertook a substantial restructuring to strengthen and transform the organization and better position it for growth. Sunoco exited unprofitable operations, significantly reduced costs, improved efficiencies, and refocused on established highreturn businesses. Mr. MacDonald has also held executive management roles at Dell, General Motors Corporationrationration, and Isuzu Motors Limited. since 2016.

MacDonald joined Sunoco in 2009 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure with Sunoco, the Company undertook a substantial restructuring to strengthen and transform the organization and better position it for growth. Sunoco exited unprofitable operations, significantly reduced costs, improved efficiencies, and refocused on established highreturn businesses. Prior to Sunoco, Mr. MacDonald worked at Dell, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer of the Large Enterprise Business Unit, overseeing all aspects of its financial management. Before becoming the unit Chief Financial Officer in 2008, he served as Dell corporate Vice President and Treasurer. In this role, Mr. MacDonald led Dell mergers and acquisitions organization and headed the company global treasury group, with operations in the United States, Ireland and Singapore.
