Roy V. Armes

Roy V. Armes is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, Inc.(CTB)

He joined the company January 1, 2007 as CEO and President and was subsequently elected to Cooper’s Board of Directors. He was appointed as the Company’s Chairman of the Board in December 2007.

In 2010, Armes joined the Board of Directors for The Manitowoc Company and currently serves as Governance Committee Chair. He is also the current Chairman of the Rubber Manufacturing Association (RMA) and serves on the MAPI Board of Trustees. He previously served as a Director of JLG Industries.

Prior to joining Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, Armes had an outstanding 31-year career at Whirlpool Corporation.

Roy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Toledo along with completion of several executive management and leadership training and educational programs.
