Tod E. Carpenter

Tod Carpenter is Chairman, President and CEO of Donaldson, Inc.(DCI)

Since joining the company in 1996 as Director of Operations in the Gas Turbine Systems business, he has held several operations, sales and management positions in the United States and Europe, including the role of COO before being chosen President and CEO in 2015. He was appointed to the Donaldson Board of Directors in 2014 and was named Chairman of the Board three years later. Prior to Donaldson, Tod spent 13 years at Hughes Aircraft Company and was a consultant at York & Associates. He serves on the AMETEK Inc. Board of Directors, the Minnesota Business Partnership Board of Directors and the Board of Overseers of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He has a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing technology from Indiana State University and an MBA from Long Beach State University.
