George C. Freeman

George C. Freeman has been the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Universal Corp, Inc.(UVV) the company since 2008. Previously, he served as the Vice President from 2005 to 2006 and as a General Counsel and Secretary from 2001 to 2005 at the company. He also serves as a Director of Tredegar Corporation since 2011 and as the Chairman of its Executive Compensation Committee. Currently, he serves as a Director of Mutual Assurance Society of Virginia since 2013 and as a Chairman of its Governance committee, and a member of its executive committee and investment committee.
