Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused Russia of initiating an effort to hide proof of horrific war crimes perpetrated by its forces in seized territories.
“We must also be aware that after the revealed mass killings of civilians in the Kyiv region, the occupiers may have a different attitude to their crimes in another part of our country where they came,” Zelenskyy said in his video address.

“They are already launching a false campaign to conceal their guilt in the mass killings of civilians in Mariupol,” Zelensky said.

Ukrainian President said the Russian army did not hide what happened in Bucha, but that they could in other seized areas.
He further urged Western governments to slap more sanctions on Vladimir Putin's administration, adding that the penalties must ultimately be severe.
