Russia said on Thursday that the war with Ukraine has resulted in significant battlefield casualties.
“We have significant losses of troops, and it’s a huge tragedy for us,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Sky News.
When asked about Kremlin ending the war Peskov said “Our military are doing their best to bring an end to that operation.”
"And we do hope that in coming days, in the foreseeable future, this operation will reach its goals or will finish it by the negotiations between Russian and Ukrainian delegation," Peskov told Sky News.

The resolution, received the needed two-thirds majority of UNGA voting members on Thursday, with 93 votes in favor and 24 votes against. A total of 58 countries abstained, but their votes were not counted in the final result.
