Kremlin spokesperson concedes that Russia suffered 'significant' losses

• Russia's death toll might be around 15,000, NATO estimates, while Moscow said 1,351 dead as of March 25

Russia said on Thursday that the war with Ukraine has resulted in significant battlefield casualties.

“We have significant losses of troops, and it’s a huge tragedy for us,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Sky News.

When asked about Kremlin ending the war Peskov said “Our military are doing their best to bring an end to that operation.”
